Thanks for visiting!

Welcome! This is the place where I share my artsy and crafty projects. I am an evolving artist these days ... finding myself enjoying less of the cards and mini albums that I have made for years, and turning to art journaling and more artistic endeavors. I have always enjoyed some craft or other, and some of my earliest memories of my mother helping me make paper dolls and other crafts. I am now in my 60's and finding myself more passionately enjoying creating beautiful things and learning new skills and techniques and products.

While you are here I hope you will find inspiration and ideas for making your own projects, however any images or projects you find here are my personal property and should not be used for your own monetary gain, or for contests or challenges. Thank You!

Winter Kisses - Papercraft Star

These last few weeks, with the holidays, new design team assignments, etc. I haven't been able to take part in many challenges, but when I saw the latest challenge at Papercraft Star I knew I wanted to put some of my new goodies to use and make a card!   The theme is 'Winter' and I have some of the new 'Snow Day' goodies from Pink Paislee, and they worked just perfectly with that theme!  Here is what I came up with ...

Here is all the info ...

Supplies:
  • Base card stock - The Paper Studio
  • Patterned papers - Pink Paislee 'Snow Day' ... Warm Mittens, Fireside, and Snowball Fight
  • Snow couple - Pink Paislee 'Snow Day Dimensional Stickers
  • Die cuts - Pink Paislee 'Snow Day' Ephemera
  • Letter stickers - Pink Paislee 'Snow Day' Bitty Blocks
  • Stickles - 'Diamond' and 'Silver'
  • Red seam binding - Bluebird Lane (Etsy)
  • White lace - Olive Grace (booth at show)
  • Brown ink - Stampabilities

Tools:
  • Martha Stewart/EKSuccess paper trimmer
  • Martha Stewart/EKSuccess scoring board
  • Scissors, ruler, craft knife
  • EKSuccess 'Arch Scallop' border punch
  • Fiskars 'Apron Lace' border punch

And that's all there is to it!  I love this card, and think it would even work for Valentines!  I mean, here in Georgia Valentines Day does fall in winter!  Thanks so much for visiting, and I hope to see you back again soon!  Blessings, Becky
