Thanks for visiting!
Welcome! This is the place where I share my artsy and crafty projects. I am an evolving artist these days ... finding myself enjoying less of the cards and mini albums that I have made for years, and turning to art journaling and more artistic endeavors. I have always enjoyed some craft or other, and some of my earliest memories of my mother helping me make paper dolls and other crafts. I am now in my 60's and finding myself more passionately enjoying creating beautiful things and learning new skills and techniques and products.
While you are here I hope you will find inspiration and ideas for making your own projects, however any images or projects you find here are my personal property and should not be used for your own monetary gain, or for contests or challenges. Thank You!

Update
I am learning to live without fear of the phone ringing with yet another emergency. I have been doing some crafting, no paper crafting yet, but the old itch to create something from paper is beginning to make itself known.
Thanks for visiting, and who knows, maybe I'll open this site back up again one day! Blessings, Becky

More Designs for Making Handmade Cards!
The first is a sympathy card - because that's what the papers 'told me' they should be! Here are a few pictures of the card.
The main elements in this card:
- Inking
- Layering
- Machine Stitching
- Deep jewel-toned gems
- Beige button threaded with brown satin ribbon
- Brown satin bow
The second project I made with the Roselle papers was a fun 'luau' birthday invitation tag. I must admit I love this project, and think it would be a great party invitation - one that anyone would be proud to stick on their refrigerator or bulletin board.
The main elements in this invitation are:
- Base is a pre-purchased tag
- Inking
- Layering
- Prima flowers
- K&Co pearl gems
- Brown silk ribbon
Today I'm working on some more projects for MHC using their next new line of printable papers called "Little Princess" which is all about girls, princesses, crowns, castles, and more. Keep an eye out for my projects made with those papers.
Thanks for visiting me today! Blessings, Becky

Mystery Solved!
What they do at Making Handmade Cards (MHC) is create digital papers, and you download the files, and print the papers at your leisure for use in making cards or other papercrafting projects. As a guest designer, I get the new kits before they are available to the public and make cards and other projects for them to (maybe) use on their website.

And the Pink Corset Tag "Girly & Fabulous" using papers Boudoir-Pink-2, Boudoir-Pink-8, and Boudoir-Pink-9, along with lace, tulle, black linen ribbon and a flower shaped gem.
As soon as they release the new Boudoir kit I'll be sure to post about it here so you can go check it out for yourself. In the meantime, please go visit the Making Handmade Cards website now so you can see what they are all about, the kits that are already available (there's one free one on there, too), and tips and techniques for making great cards with their products. Keep checking back, I've got another kit I'm working on now, so there will be new projects to share with you within a couple of days.
Thanks for visiting! Becky
