Doesn't a cameo just shout that phrase "Classic Beauty"? Well I caved and used this old earring of my late grandmother's for this card because it just matched so well. The card is for the Caardvarks "Studi Calico" sketch challenge, and I'm very pleased with the outcome.
And just look at that flower! I used a very soft, almost 'thin' felt called 'cranapple' and cut out 5 hearts and layered them, topped them with a button sewn on with brown embroidery floss. I love it! Tell me what you think . . . . .
- Base - Bazzill cardstock
- Papers - Websters Pages 'Your Life. Beautiful' line 'love note' and 'classic beauty'
- cream velvet ribbon and brown silk ribbon from 'One Hundred Wishes'
- felt flower, button and cameo from my stash
Thanks for looking, and have a week full of joy and blessings! Becky

Oh, that is beautiful, Becky! SO special with your grandmother's cameo on there. I wouldn't be able to give this one away! Love the design and love how you used the Webster's papers on here. I have been scrapping this weekend with the Hello, Beautiful line, too. So how fun to pop over here and see how you've used it. Gorgeous job, girl!
Absolutely beautiful!
I would frame and hang it and the wall across from my favorite "reflection" corner of the sofa.
Lovely!! Your hearts flower is so pretty and the earring is perfect here!

Great card...awww I know how you feel about parting with a sentimental piece for art's sake...it can be hard!

Lovely...I'll bet your grandmother was too. She'd surely approve of what you made! Are you keeping it? Framing it?
