Thanks for visiting!

Welcome! This is the place where I share my artsy and crafty projects. I am an evolving artist these days ... finding myself enjoying less of the cards and mini albums that I have made for years, and turning to art journaling and more artistic endeavors. I have always enjoyed some craft or other, and some of my earliest memories of my mother helping me make paper dolls and other crafts. I am now in my 60's and finding myself more passionately enjoying creating beautiful things and learning new skills and techniques and products.

While you are here I hope you will find inspiration and ideas for making your own projects, however any images or projects you find here are my personal property and should not be used for your own monetary gain, or for contests or challenges. Thank You!

I'm still around . . . .

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to let you know what's going on here at Camellia Cottage. Last week I was sick most of the week with sinus-y stuff, and then had family stuff Friday and Sunday. Saturday I started a project that was waaaaaayyyyyyy over due - reorganizing and straightening my office/studio.

Traditionally for me, January is kind of a cleaning, purging, setting things straight time, and I feel like I'm way behind the game after getting almost nothing done last week, so I'm forcing myself to get some home things accomplished before I let my self play any.

Add to that a new Dr. for my dad to visit - kidneys this time, and that really scares me! He's lost two of his good buddies since Dec. 12th, and he's getting more frail all the time.

If I can get through the next few days, by the first of next week I should be able to take a break and catch up on my paper playing. Hopefully by then I'll have my new 4 sets of nesties in hand, too. (For Christmas hubby gave me a gift card to my lss, and she's ordering them for me at cost - yahoooo!)

Until then, if you want to keep up with what's going on with me at home with non-paper crafting related stuff, you can check my other BLOG where I post more often.

I'll be back as soon as I can see my way clear - I just have to do the more important stuff first! Blessings to you all, Becky

Hope you've recovered by now, Becky! And I hope your space is all clean, organized and ready to go. I think it's a great idea to start the new year off with some organization. Feels good, doesn't it?
