Thanks for visiting!

Welcome! This is the place where I share my artsy and crafty projects. I am an evolving artist these days ... finding myself enjoying less of the cards and mini albums that I have made for years, and turning to art journaling and more artistic endeavors. I have always enjoyed some craft or other, and some of my earliest memories of my mother helping me make paper dolls and other crafts. I am now in my 60's and finding myself more passionately enjoying creating beautiful things and learning new skills and techniques and products.

While you are here I hope you will find inspiration and ideas for making your own projects, however any images or projects you find here are my personal property and should not be used for your own monetary gain, or for contests or challenges. Thank You!

A Couple of Cards ... and just busy!

Hi there!  I know it's been a while since I shared any projects with you!  In the last few weeks (well, probably 8 weeks, but it's only getting worse) I have a new addiction, or maybe it should be called an affliction ... and yes, it's mini albums!  I've made probably 8-10 minis in the last 2 months!  It's a great way to use up scraps of papers, and they are so much fun to make!  I can't show you some of them because I have submitted them for publication, but I will share them when I can.

I have made a couple of cards lately, and I want to share them now.  Here they are ...

This one is made from October Afternoon 'Sidewalks' papers, vintage lace and button, Stickles diamond, and seam binding from Bluebird Lane Etsy Shop.  I found the vintage image on Pinterest.

The next card is made using one of my favorite images.  I found it on Flickr and is of a painting by Mabel Lucie Atwell ...

The base paper is by We R Memory Keepers, sentiment by SRM Stickers, button from Buttons Galore, Tulle for border and flower are by Maya Road.  The ric-rack is an estate sale find.  I fussy cut the image and popped it up on foam dots.

Hope you've enjoyed your visit today!  I'll be back soon with a card I made for the March Gallery Challenge by Paper Crafts Magazine.  Have a great week!  Becky
