Welcome! This is the place where I share my artsy and crafty projects. I am an evolving artist these days ... finding myself enjoying less of the cards and mini albums that I have made for years, and turning to art journaling and more artistic endeavors. I have always enjoyed some craft or other, and some of my earliest memories of my mother helping me make paper dolls and other crafts. I am now in my 60's and finding myself more passionately enjoying creating beautiful things and learning new skills and techniques and products.

Hi folks! Just a quick post to share with you my entry for the October Tag Challenge over on Scrapbook.com. The 'twist' for this month's challenge was to use multiples of 7 embellishments on your card. Here's my entry.

I used some really pretty vintage postcard paper from Making Memories (I think), and inked it with brown ink. The quote on the tag says "Flowers whisper what words cannot say", which I think is so lovely! There are 7 flowers - pretty hydrangea blossoms from Prima, 7 pearl beads in the centers, 7 vintage buttons from my new stash, and 7 inches of the brown ribbon. I'm really pleased with this little tag - now, who do I want to give it to???

I'll be gone until the 18th or 19th, our long planned for fall camping trip begins tomorrow morning, so I'll be away from the internet, but I'm carrying a LOT of my crafting stuff, so I'll have plenty to do when I'm not paddling the canoe, pedaling the bike, trikkeing the trikke, or eating and sleeping!
