Thanks for visiting!

Welcome! This is the place where I share my artsy and crafty projects. I am an evolving artist these days ... finding myself enjoying less of the cards and mini albums that I have made for years, and turning to art journaling and more artistic endeavors. I have always enjoyed some craft or other, and some of my earliest memories of my mother helping me make paper dolls and other crafts. I am now in my 60's and finding myself more passionately enjoying creating beautiful things and learning new skills and techniques and products.

While you are here I hope you will find inspiration and ideas for making your own projects, however any images or projects you find here are my personal property and should not be used for your own monetary gain, or for contests or challenges. Thank You!

Handmade from the Heart!

It's another lovely fall day, and I've been sitting here at the computer most of it, lol! I did go out to vote and then to get gas in the car on the way home, and I've done a few loads of laundry, so I guess I haven't been sitting here all day after all - it just feels like it!

But I did get something fun accomplished! I got four things up for sale on MY ETSY shop. They are all pins (or maybe brooches is the better word) and they are all handmade using felt, lace, buttons, ribbons, you know, all the stuff I've got tons of around here! I'm just going to show you pics, but you are welcome to go check them out on Etsy.

I don't have any patterns for these, just made them up myself. I did use two of the Nestabilities dies to make two circles, and glued them together to get the snowman shape.

I've decided that when we go to Savannah for Thanksgiving week, I'm only taking my bags (2) full of stuff to make these kinds of things, and leave all the paper crafting stuff at home. This will keep my hands busy, and that's what it's all about for me anyway.

So, laundry duty calls again! Have a great day! Blessings, Becky

Those are pretty! I especially like the snowmen. I know you'll sell a bunch. You should list some of your cards too, they'd get bought up in a hurry! Have a great day! -Tish :)

Oh, Becky! Your pins are very pretty! What cute little gifts they would make.
Thanks for visiting my blog today and leaving such a nice comment! You're the only one who thinks I won't cave immediately. I know I will, but I'm hoping to last until a sale! ;)
Have a great night!
