Thanks for visiting!

Welcome! This is the place where I share my artsy and crafty projects. I am an evolving artist these days ... finding myself enjoying less of the cards and mini albums that I have made for years, and turning to art journaling and more artistic endeavors. I have always enjoyed some craft or other, and some of my earliest memories of my mother helping me make paper dolls and other crafts. I am now in my 60's and finding myself more passionately enjoying creating beautiful things and learning new skills and techniques and products.

While you are here I hope you will find inspiration and ideas for making your own projects, however any images or projects you find here are my personal property and should not be used for your own monetary gain, or for contests or challenges. Thank You!

CPS Year In Review Challenge

Happy New Year Everyone! I spent New Years Eve and New Years Day ‘hopefully’ setting a trend for how I spend the rest of this year. Getting organized, and playing with paper! I’ll share a few of my organizing efforts with you later, but first I want to share two cards with you that I made for the CPS Year In Review card challenge.

The challenge this week was to use any of the previous sketches from weeks 1 through 147!  That is a lot of sketches to choose from, and I had a hard time choosing . . . so I chose two!  Up first is sketch #34 . . .

Here is my take on the sketch.  As you can see I flipped it a bit for my design . . .

A couple of spotlight pics . . .

And my products list . . .

Base paper is Websters Pages Reflections of Nature - bee balm

Cardstocks by Bazzill and DCWV

Image from clipart software

Platinum Stickles on the birds

Pink flower is Petaloo - It's Magic Princess Disney Collection - Flowers - Dahlia Box Blend - Small - Pink and Blue

Paper flower is from K and Company Amy Butler Paper Flowers

Gems are from Basic Grey 'bling it'

The second sketch I used was 45, and I truly loved this card!  The tulip tag and my aunt were my inspirations for this card, and I'll be sending the card to my aunt soon.  As soon as the Christmas holidays are over, she's talking spring, and in her mind, spring starts Feb. 1, no matter where she is!  I love her outlook on spring!  Here is the sketch . . .

And here is my take on the sketch . . .

A few spotlight pics . . .

And my product list . . .

Base papers (patterned) are Basic Grey lemonade line:
  • bottom paper is 'saltwater taffy'
  • smaller paper is 'poppy field'
Tulip tag, mauve and robins egg blue seam binding are from Bluebird Lane etsy shop

Blue pearls are from Prima 'e. line'

Sentiment was typed on a clipart software and printed onto white cardstock on my printer.  The circle was cut using Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Circle Small.  Green 'shadow' circle was cut on Cricut using Plantin SchoolBook cartridge, circle at 2 1/4 inches.

Letters 's p r i n g' were cut on Cricut Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.

Stardust Stickles

I hope you've enjoyed these cards!  Check back soon because I have a card for the latest Mojo Monday challene, and a few ATC's that I made just for the fun of it!  Blessings, Becky

Wow. This is something I want to learn so bad. I bet I have told you that before. I can do anything if someone lays it out for me. ABC, ya know? Any suggestions where to start?

You've done a beautiful job with your CPS Challenge... I'm getting ready to work on right now. I choose number 50. You also leave very clear instruction for how to recreate your art... thanks!
