Welcome! This is the place where I share my artsy and crafty projects. I am an evolving artist these days ... finding myself enjoying less of the cards and mini albums that I have made for years, and turning to art journaling and more artistic endeavors. I have always enjoyed some craft or other, and some of my earliest memories of my mother helping me make paper dolls and other crafts. I am now in my 60's and finding myself more passionately enjoying creating beautiful things and learning new skills and techniques and products.

The Kraft Journal - Challenge 96 - Turkey Time!

Can you believe it?  Thanksgiving is just over a week away, and I am so not ready for Thanksgiving or the holidays that follow.  But I did have a chance to make a cute (and easy) place card / treat holder for my Thanksgiving table!  The theme over at The Kraft Journal is "Turkey Time" and it is my week for a tutorial, and of course we want to make things as easy as possible for the holidays, so here is what I came up with ...


 


It is a cool place card that is also a treat holder!  Wouldn't it be neat to place some of those fancy chocolate mints inside?  Or maybe you could assign clean-up chores for after the meal is finished and place a chore into each pillow.  However you decide to use it, this will make a cute addition to your Thanksgiving table!  Please check out Wednesday's post at The Kraft Journal for more details!
