Welcome! This is the place where I share my artsy and crafty projects. I am an evolving artist these days ... finding myself enjoying less of the cards and mini albums that I have made for years, and turning to art journaling and more artistic endeavors. I have always enjoyed some craft or other, and some of my earliest memories of my mother helping me make paper dolls and other crafts. I am now in my 60's and finding myself more passionately enjoying creating beautiful things and learning new skills and techniques and products.

Carols Sketch Fun # 19 and Little Red Wagon - Hearts Challenges

What fun I had this past Saturday working on making cards for challenges!  If you are a papercrafter you know that time spent playing in your space with your things can't be beat!  And this card is for two challenes . . .

The sketch for Carol's Sketch Fun # 19 . . .

and Little Red Wagon's challenge to use hearts in a card.

Here is my take on both challenges . . .

Product List:
  • Pink cardstock and patterned/glittered cardstock both from Die Cuts With a View 'Be Mine' cardstock stack
  • Rub-On from Melissa Frances
  • Bling from Prima e. line Pearls and Crystals
  • Ribbon was a gift from my aunt, so I don't know where she bought it
  • Millinery flowers from Glitter Your World
  • Glitter on flower stamens is Stickles stardust
Cricut Info:
  • Base card and patterned cardstock both cut on Walk In My Garden cartridge.  Card 2 @ 5" and Card 1 @ shadow 4 3/4"
  • Hearts cut on Plantin SchoolBook at 3/4", 1" and 1 1/4"
