Thanks for visiting!

Welcome! This is the place where I share the cards and other crafty projects that I make in my little studio. When I was small, my mother taught me how to make paper dolls from pictures in the Sears catalog, and furniture from cardboard. I am now in my 60's and still playing with paper!

While you are here I hope you will find inspiration and ideas for making your own projects, however any cards or images you find here are my personal property and should not be used for your own contests or challenges. Thank You!

Bouquet of Friendship

Hi there!  Just a quick post to share a recent project with you!  It's a fabric wall hanging, made entirely from things in my stash.  I love the daisy fabric (a remnant from Walmart) and the big yellow buttons.

All stitching was done by machine except for sewing on the beads and buttons.  The sentiment was stamped onto tea stained muslin and heat set with an iron.  Here are more pics . . .

I love making these, and will have another one posted here on October 16th for the Unscripted Sketches Breast Cancer Awareness Blog Hop!  Please come back then to see how you can win a wonderful prize!

Thanks for visiting!  Blessings, Becky

What an adorable hanging, Becky! I love the texture you've created here with the fabric. Those sunflowers and big yellow buttons are just so bright and cheerful. Great tip, too, for heat setting the stamped image on the fabric.
