Thanks for visiting!

Welcome! This is the place where I share my artsy and crafty projects. I am an evolving artist these days ... finding myself enjoying less of the cards and mini albums that I have made for years, and turning to art journaling and more artistic endeavors. I have always enjoyed some craft or other, and some of my earliest memories of my mother helping me make paper dolls and other crafts. I am now in my 60's and finding myself more passionately enjoying creating beautiful things and learning new skills and techniques and products.

While you are here I hope you will find inspiration and ideas for making your own projects, however any images or projects you find here are my personal property and should not be used for your own monetary gain, or for contests or challenges. Thank You!

Papercraft Star Challenge # 50

This week is Papercraft Star's fiftieth challenge . . . and I think that is pretty cool!  And this is my fourth time participating, and fifth time making a project based on their challenges.  And yes, I made a project for last week, but didn't get a picture of it so I could post it . . . time just got away from me!  But I finally made a picture and will share it with you soon, because I really love it and I think it's worth sharing!  Anyway, here is my card based on this week's challenge . . .

And here are all of the details . . .

The Challenge:

  • Create a card or other project using the following criteria:   Use the letters "S", "T", "A", "R" as inspiration for your project (i. e. "S" for sentiment, "R" for ribbon, etc.)

The Supplies:
  • Base card stock from The Paper Studio
  • Patterned papers from Echo Park 'For The Record' line
  • Sticker sentiment from SRM Stickers
  • Gems from Prima
  • Ribbon from my stash, I think it came from Hobby Lobby, but I've had it for ages!
  • Image found on Flickr

The Tools:
  • Cricut Expression and Walk In My Garden cartridge
  • Fiskars 'Apron Lace' border punch
  • Rotary Cutter, Scissors, Craft Knife and Ruler
  • Computer and ink jet printer

How I Met The Criteria:

  • "S" is for Sticker sentiment
  • "T" is for Two (2) patterned papers
  • "A" is for Apron Lace punched borders, and
  • "R" is for Ribbon

As I've told you before, I am really loving the For the Record line from Echo Park!  And I pretty much only have scraps left, but I think you will probably see more projects using those scraps!

Thanks for visiting today!  Come back soon, and Blessings!  Becky
