Thanks for visiting!

Welcome! This is the place where I share my artsy and crafty projects. I am an evolving artist these days ... finding myself enjoying less of the cards and mini albums that I have made for years, and turning to art journaling and more artistic endeavors. I have always enjoyed some craft or other, and some of my earliest memories of my mother helping me make paper dolls and other crafts. I am now in my 60's and finding myself more passionately enjoying creating beautiful things and learning new skills and techniques and products.

While you are here I hope you will find inspiration and ideas for making your own projects, however any images or projects you find here are my personal property and should not be used for your own monetary gain, or for contests or challenges. Thank You!

Unscripted Sketches Christmas in July Designer Spotlight

Merry Christmas in July!!!  Today is my 'spotlight' day over at Unscripted Sketches' Christmas in July festivities.  Please follow the link so you can find out more about me - things like what I collect, or which food I most nearly resemble.  Fun stuff!

And because it's my day in the fish bowl, I wanted to share a tutorial on how to make a Christmas gift card holder.  Simply follow the steps on the slideshow below to make  your own.

Note:  If you don't have a Cricut, but have Spellbinders Nestabilities, you could use those to die-cut your shapes.

Would you like to make your own gift card holder???  Leave a comment here and I will draw a name on July 31st to win a small kit of things you will need to make one of your very own!  Winner will be announced the first Saturday in August.   (Due to budgetary constraints, I can only ship to a winner in the US - and I am really sorry!)

If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment and I will try my best to answer them!  And please stay tuned for the entire month of July as we share all kinds of fun things to help inspire you!  Blessings, Becky

That's great. Recipients could use it as an xmas ornament too. The flower technique is new to me. Thanks for sharing it!
