Thanks for visiting!

Welcome! This is the place where I share my artsy and crafty projects. I am an evolving artist these days ... finding myself enjoying less of the cards and mini albums that I have made for years, and turning to art journaling and more artistic endeavors. I have always enjoyed some craft or other, and some of my earliest memories of my mother helping me make paper dolls and other crafts. I am now in my 60's and finding myself more passionately enjoying creating beautiful things and learning new skills and techniques and products.

While you are here I hope you will find inspiration and ideas for making your own projects, however any images or projects you find here are my personal property and should not be used for your own monetary gain, or for contests or challenges. Thank You!

The Kraft Journal . . . Carnivals, Parades or Parties

I love Mondays!  And I know, you're probably thinking I'm crazy right about now, but on Mondays, hubby is back at work, I'm doing laundry and, since my craft room is right next to the laundry room, I am usually working on making some cards.  I also love Mondays because that means it's "Make It Monday" at The Kraft Outlet, and I love their challenges!  Their challenge for this week is to make a project based on the theme of "Carnivals, Parades, or Parties".  My first thought when I saw this was "Wow, I wish I hadn't used that cool ferris wheel image a few weeks ago for another of their challenges, but that only lasted a minute, because I knew I had other images I could use.

Before I share my card, I want to apologize once again for my pictures!  I have ordered a new battery for my 'good' camera, and it should be here in 2-3 days, but until then it's the point and shoot, and it's not in that great of shape any more!  Anyway, here is my card based on their challenge . . .

I love this vintage greeting card image found on Flickr, and thought it looked just right for a three year old!  Did you notice the little duck passed out in the bottom left hand corner?  Too cute!
