Welcome! This is the place where I share my artsy and crafty projects. I am an evolving artist these days ... finding myself enjoying less of the cards and mini albums that I have made for years, and turning to art journaling and more artistic endeavors. I have always enjoyed some craft or other, and some of my earliest memories of my mother helping me make paper dolls and other crafts. I am now in my 60's and finding myself more passionately enjoying creating beautiful things and learning new skills and techniques and products.

It's time for the new challenge over at Tag Tuesday, and this week Rebecca asked us to use the letter A as our focus, showing an image representing the letter, but with the letter A as the focus. As I was looking through my files for an image, I found this cute one of a child praying, and immediately Matthew 7:7 came to mind . . .

What better word for this challenge than 'Ask'? Here is my tag for this challenge . . .

Supplies:

Kraft card stock - The Paper Studio
Red card stock - Core'dinations
Image - digital collage sheet bought from Etsy vendor
Patterned paper - Prima
Stickles 'Platinum'
Brown ink - Stampabilities

Tools Used:

Cricut Expression with Elegant Edges (EE) and A Child's Year (ACY) cartridges
Scissors, craft knife

Cricut Cuts:

Tag shapes - EE cartridge, Btfly2-s set at 4 1/2" using Oblong feature
Letters - ACY cartridge, A set at 1 3/4" and s and k set at 1"

I printed and glued the bible verse onto the back of the tag. I think I will keep this one stuck up around my desk somewhere to remind me it's okay to ask for God's help in meeting our needs. Thanks for visiting! Blessings, Becky
