Thanks for visiting!

Welcome! This is the place where I share my artsy and crafty projects. I am an evolving artist these days ... finding myself enjoying less of the cards and mini albums that I have made for years, and turning to art journaling and more artistic endeavors. I have always enjoyed some craft or other, and some of my earliest memories of my mother helping me make paper dolls and other crafts. I am now in my 60's and finding myself more passionately enjoying creating beautiful things and learning new skills and techniques and products.

While you are here I hope you will find inspiration and ideas for making your own projects, however any images or projects you find here are my personal property and should not be used for your own monetary gain, or for contests or challenges. Thank You!

Visiting Old Friends @ Unscripted Sketches

Most of you know that a couple of months ago I stepped down from the Design Team at Unscripted Sketches.  It was hard to do, but I'd been there for a year, and it was just time for a change.  Plus, I knew by then that I was going to start my own new challenge blog, and would need time to work on that.  And when I left, I told my friends there (and they are one very special group of ladies!) that I would try to come back from time to time and participate in a challenge.  And I finally had time to do that this weekend!  Here is the sketch for this week . . . .

Now, I have to tell you, I missed the part that this was a piggyback week, but I know the girls at  US will forgive me that slip!

Here is my project based on the sketch . . . .

Supplies:
  • Base card stock (kraft) - The Paper Studio
  • Patterned paper and stamp elements - Graphics 45 'Christmas Emporium' collection
  • Sentiment - SRM Stickers
  • Stickles 'Platinum'
  • Ink - Stampabilities

Tools:
  • Cricut Expression and Walk In My Garden cartridge
  • Martha Stewart Paper Trimmer
  • Scissors, craft knife, ruler

I've really become a huge fan of Graphics 45 products, and the vintage feel of this Christmas line is right up my alley!  Thanks for visiting today, and please come back soon, because I've got a post about some things I've been making for an upcoming craft show and sale!  Blessings, Becky
