Welcome! This is the place where I share the cards and other crafty projects that I make in my little studio. When I was small, my mother taught me how to make paper dolls from pictures in the Sears catalog, and furniture from cardboard. I am now in my late 50's and still playing with paper!

A Card for Two Challenges ... Pink and Frou-Frou!!!

Welcome back! Here I am, back again with a card for two challenges! I love when I can make a project that has two totally different challenges, and yet make it work into a beautiful finished product! Here are the challenges ...

Papercraft Star - Use a frame
Sugar Creek Hollow - Embossing (either dry or heat embossing)

And here is my card for both challenges ...

Supplies:

Base card stock - The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby)
White card stock - Georgia Pacific (Walmart)
Patterned paper - Echo Park 'Victoria Garden'
Image - Little Birdie Blessings
Frame - Tattered Angels
Pearls - Prima
Glitter - a mixture from my stash
Pink ribbon - yard sale find
Tulle and tiny flowers - Hobby Lobby
Vintage brooch - yard sale find

Martha Stewart / EK Success Paper Trimmer
Martha Stewart / EK Success Scoring Board
Cuttlebug and Textile embossing folder
Scissors, craft knife, ruler

I love that image, and had wanted to use it for a while, but never found anything that went well with it, but then when I got the Echo Park Victoria Garden 6 x 6" pad, I knew this paper would go great with the image!
