Thanks for visiting!

Welcome! This is the place where I share my artsy and crafty projects. I am an evolving artist these days ... finding myself enjoying less of the cards and mini albums that I have made for years, and turning to art journaling and more artistic endeavors. I have always enjoyed some craft or other, and some of my earliest memories of my mother helping me make paper dolls and other crafts. I am now in my 60's and finding myself more passionately enjoying creating beautiful things and learning new skills and techniques and products.

While you are here I hope you will find inspiration and ideas for making your own projects, however any images or projects you find here are my personal property and should not be used for your own monetary gain, or for contests or challenges. Thank You!

Friendship's Garden Challenge Blog ... Challenge 11 ... Happy St. Pats Day!

Can you believe that March is already here???  I know!  Me either!!!  But it is, and that means spring is very close, the March winds are blowing briskly today, and Daylight Savings Time starts this weekend.  It also means a lot of people will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day, and that is our challenge for this week ... make a card with a St. Patrick's Day theme and it must have the color green on the card.  And here is my card for the challenge ...

It's such a simple card, but also very cute!  Here are all the details ...

Supplies:
  • Base card stock (brown) and cream cardstock - The Paper Studio
  • Image - Flickr find
  • Sentiment - SRM Stickers
  • Brown ink - Quick Quotes 'Mocha Mama'
  • Stickles 'platinum'
  • Ribbon - an estate sale find

Tools:
  • Martha Stewart / EK Success paper trimmer
  • Martha Stewart / EK Success scoring board
  • Cuttlebug and 'Textile' embossing folder
  • Scissors, craft knife and ruler

And that's it!  Sometimes simpler is best, and this card came together in a breeze!  Blessings friends!  Becky

Sorry, I get a little confused... Is this the new challenge for Friendships Garden? Or is it only for invited friends?
Kind regards
Susan
