Thanks for visiting!

Welcome! This is the place where I share my artsy and crafty projects. I am an evolving artist these days ... finding myself enjoying less of the cards and mini albums that I have made for years, and turning to art journaling and more artistic endeavors. I have always enjoyed some craft or other, and some of my earliest memories of my mother helping me make paper dolls and other crafts. I am now in my 60's and finding myself more passionately enjoying creating beautiful things and learning new skills and techniques and products.

While you are here I hope you will find inspiration and ideas for making your own projects, however any images or projects you find here are my personal property and should not be used for your own monetary gain, or for contests or challenges. Thank You!

Mojo Monday Week 195

A lot of times I'll look at a sketch and think "There's No Way!!!", and then there are other challenges that just speak to me and I immediately know what I want to do, and that is what happened when I looked at the sketch from Mojo Monday for this week.  I just knew what I wanted to do for this card!  And I love it!   Here is my card based on this week's sketch . . .

And here are all of the details . . .

The Sketch:

The Supplies:
  • Cardstock from The Paper Studio
  • Patterned paper from The Paper Studio
  • Flowers and Gems from Prima
  • Sticker sentiment from SRM Stickers
  • Vintage lace from my stash
  • Image found on Flickr

The Tools:
  • Cricut Expression and Walk In My Garden Cartridge
  • Cuttlebug and Spellbinders Nestabilities
  • Rotary Cutter, Scissors, Craft Knife and Ruler
  • EK Success Scalloped Border Punch
  • Computer and Ink Jet Printer

Don't you think this is the cutest image!  You can find so many images on Flickr that are free to use for your crafts.  I organize and edit my images using Picasa 3 free downloadable software from Google, and it is very easy to use.

Thanks for coming, and please come back soon!  I've got another challenge card ready to post, and a couple of projects that I didn't get posted in time for challenges, but wanted to share anyway.  See you soon!  Becky
